First off, quite a good review.
"Factory also reminds me of another song, but I cant for the life of me figure out what it is."
Well, whenever I hear it, I always think of a mix of O-bla-di-O-bla-da and Got To Get You Into My Life. Maybe thats just me...

opinion, highly informative and very balanced. The only thing IŽve heard from this band has been there contribution to the I Am Sam soundtrack. Not sure if they are my cup of tea, perhaps IŽll download a few tracks to find out.

The low price trick that you mentioned is a fairly new practice from the record industry, and is one of the few things they have done right in the last few years. there have been a number of albums in the last year or two with a lot of promise, but not much name recognition or initial hype. Someone made the wise move to start these at a low price ($9-$10 down here in the US) to encourage the more adventurous music buyers to try the album out. Then, once enough people have heard the album and generated some buzz, they bring the price up to a more traditional level. It's given a lot of new artists a chance that they might not have otherwise had. It's how I first got into artists like John Mayer and Norah Jones, and how you've gotten into the Vines. Hopefully it's a practice that'll stick around for a while.
