Still loving my Hitachi 60V500A TV... even after 5 years!

Pros: Great picture, easy bulb replacement, still loving it after 5 years

Cons: I can't think of one... honestly.

I must say I was more than hesitant when my husband wanted to purchase the then $4000 to $5000 television. After our research we decided on Hitachi for sure (no Sony's for us). We had just moved into our brand new home & didn't have a TV that was in scale with the size of the rooms. Needless to say he was upset when they advised there was a waiting list & that he wouldn't be able to take one home that fine Sunday (uh, yeah... SuperBowl Sunday). We waited almost 3 months for the call & haven't regretted it since. I just went online (eBay) to order our 1st bulb replacement ($140 do-it-yourself project). Even though the bulb went out, the picture still remained beautiful, just darker than usual. No problems here!
