I haven't had to use it that much because we took out carpeting and went with wood floors. Only problem is the few times I did use it the reservoir leaked like a sieve. Ordered new reservoir and it does the same thing. It has something to do with the rubber stopper at the bottom. My whole floor gets soaked and the all the water drips out within a couple of minutes. What a mess. My old cleaner worked great but after pieces kept breaking off we bought a new one. Contacted Hoover and they directed me to a repair shop? Ticked me off because it is not broken, only has TWO defective rubber stoppers that are brand new. Talk about customer service. This is the last time I buy Hoover. Why do newer products have to be inferior to their prior model? Shouldn't they then charge less? I am going to go with a cheaper steam cleaner that has good customer service and stands behind their product. I have a new steam cleaner, used about 5 times and two water reservoirs that leak.
