Nice job here on your review about this Hoover SteamVac. Which reminds me.....I need to drag MINE out and clean our carpets before putting up our Christmas tree this weekend. I'd better get busy :-)

I'm happy this worked well for you! When my sons lived home (they are grown now and on own), we'd rent these machines and the boys would do the steam cleaning for me, as I have Carpal tunnel also. Now they are gone, and I just hire someone once in a great while.
I miss this steam cleaner. They are quite good.

on this Hoover steam cleaner -- if you can up the detail I think you'll find "VH" ratings coming your way.
By providing all the detail you can you will not only receive higher ratings but also more exposure in the consumer world.
What settings are available on this (pre-srub and/or brushless?)? What brushes come with this model and how do you attach them/how well do they work?
Take us on a cleaning spree in your review -- I need one of these and your experience might help me decide.
