Pros: Pool Area was fabulous!
Cons: balcony view of a loud moldy air conditioning roof, nursing home decor in the hallways.
The Bottom Line: I would definately recommend this resort if you are a family with kids and are looking for a resort with fabulous pools.

My family stayed 1 night at the Omni in the summer. The grounds are well kept and classy. The lobby is grande and has a wall of glass looking out over the golf course. There is a table with fresh lemon water and apples which was a nice touch. The front desk staff were very polite and I could tell they had been trained to go the extra mile. The best part about this hotel is the pool areas. They have a waterslide, 2 pools (one for adults only overlooking the golf course with fabulous cabanas with tvs and the other for families)and a lazy river. There is a publix shopping center with a couple of restaurants nearby and a Mcdonalds if you choose to eat off the hotel grounds. There is a starbucks within the hotel as well. We ate at the poolside grill and the prices were moderate resort prices.
As for the negative aspects of this resort: I personally didnt care for the hallway decor- it reminded me of a nursing home. The rooms themselves were well appointed although my room had an ugly view of the air conditioners atop the roof and the noise was awful if you opened the sliders.
I would suggest signing up for the Omni members club before booking here- its free and comes with benefits such as complimentary drinks in the morning, a kiddie bag for the kids with coupons for free soda at the grill, etc.
