Pros: Great Price! Many Extras Included! My Son Loves It!
Cons: Harness is hard to unclasp. Brake cables can chaff knuckles.
I spent a lot of time reviewing the different types of strollers out there and quite honestly this one was not one of my first few choices. However, after seeing it and realizing all the features this one had I decided to give it a try, especially since it was much cheaper than the ones on my list. I bought it at BJ's Wholesalers( a bulk store) for only 139.99.
I found the assembly to be fairly easy. In fact, I went shopping with my dad and by the time I had gone inside to let me mom know we were back and get back outside to help put it together my dad had already had it completed, except for the small task of attaching the foot rest/fender in the front. He didn't even look at the directions!
The features on this one are fantastic. There is a small plastic tray on the handlebars that allows for keys and cell phone storage and has a water bottle holder. There is also a small storage space underneath as well as a detachable bag on the side. I also found the attached rain/wind shield to be a great asset. There's no worrying about where to store it or what would happen for an unexpected rain shower since it unzips from inside the sun shield. So you can use it anytime without worry. The sun shield is also moveable to block early/late day sun.
My son is 3 months old and seems to love riding in it. He fits well and stays pretty snug inside.
One of my only complaints at this point is that the harness, while providing safety, is very hard to open and close. I hope as I use it more it will loosen a bit and be easier to unclasp. Also, the chest part of the harness seems pretty high up and close to my son's face. I just make sure that a blanket is tucked underneath it to prevent it from chaffing at his chin. I think this problem will lessen as he gets older and can more easily sit up on his own.
I haven't taken the stroller on any long runs yet but so far the quality of run is good. The second of my complaints is here. The brake cables can be somewhat annoying as they can rub on your hands/knuckles if you do not adjust its position every time.
Other than these two things, which I think are small in comparison to other types of problems, this stroller is a dream!
It even folds up using a one hand release bar--which is a little stiff--but does fold up pretty compactly. It fits in the back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee with no problem and I do think it would fit in a medium sized truck, providing it were empty.
I would definitely buy this stroller again.
