Pros: MP3 navigation and folder support. Folder list and shortcut buttons to jump to folders/songs.
Cons: Clock is not displayed continuously while unit is off like OEM Ford unit did.
The Bottom Line: If you are buying a new in-dash CD player and plan to use MP3's, this player has the best interface.

| r43511's Full Review: JVC Sirius KD-LH300 Car CD/ MP3 Player |
I bought this player after taking a CDRW burned with several folders full of mp3's with and without ID3 tags to a retail store and testing out the MP3 navigation of the player. I compared it with players that support MP3 from Pioneer and Sony. This player clearly had the best CDR navigation feature. Folder names are clearly displayed on the LCD and can be easily scrolled through. A differentiating feature of this player is that it will display a list of 6 folders per screen that can be paged through. Individual folders in the list can be selected with the 1-6 preset buttons. This is very nice for jumped to various albums on your disc. The same feature is true for jumping to specific song names within a folder.
The unit will support random playback either at the top level or within a given folder which is very nice. The diplay will either display ID3 tag information of the song being played, or the filename.
This interface is my main reason for selecting this unit over offerings from other manufacturers. It is clearly superior and well thought out. It is also difficult to shop for this feature without physically testing various units to compare.
