Pros: Delayed Wash Feature, Hard Food Disposal, top rack is removable
Cons: Poor Quality - repairs required with light use
The Bottom Line: It's a good dishwasher. But not worth the extra couple hundred dollars for the top of the line model.

| lindacasey's Full Review: Kenmore 15872 Dishwasher |
We purchased our Kenmore dishwasher (model#665.15919001) because of a great review on Consumer Reports and some really neat features. It's a good dishwasher - the hard food disposal is great, so is the delayed wash feature. But was it worth the extra couple hundred dollars? No.
The unit is just made poorly. The control panel had to be replaced a year after purchasing the dishwasher. Not to mention it looked horrible, the steam vent went from black to gray. So, we had a black dishwasher with a gray splotch.
One of our deciding factors was the very cool removable top rack. But the top rack is very difficult to remove and the tabs feel flimsy. I'm afraid the tabs would break with a little wear and tear. Like our control panel did.
We paid more for a dishwasher because we thought it was a quality product. It should have been a reliable dishwasher. We are a young couple and the dishwasher gets little use - mainly for glasses during the week and dinner parties on the weekend. For a dishwasher that is used so gingerly, it shouldn't have broke.
If I had to do it again, I would have either bought a dishwasher that was a little cheaper or one with a better warranty.
