Pros: This grill is both user and budget friendly.
Cons: It's quite heavy, and takes over an hour to assemble. These are minor cons, however.
The Bottom Line: This is an excellent family grill and well worth the modest investment. No complaints whatsoever.

| missjen's Full Review: Kenmore 16223 Propane Grill |
Though I cannot offer as comprehensive and as technical a review as the two gentlemen before me, I can offer my endorsement of this grill! My husband and I saved and searched for almost a year before we bought our grill. We found this on sale for $179 and were shocked at how much more grill we got for the same money as some lesser grills. When we weighed in the excellent reviews posted here, our limited knowledge of grills, and the fact that we were getting $300 worth of grill for $179 rather than $179 worth of grill for $179, we invested in this one.
We've used it several times in the last week and could not be happier with it. We've cooked hamburgers, corn, sausage and chicken and tonight we're cooking steaks. Everything has cooked evenly and been very tender. This is quite a step up from our old charcoal barbeque. We've had no trouble with flare ups, and the heat is evenly distributed. The grilling area has been large enough for us, though the largest party for which we've grilled so far is 3 adults, so perhaps that is not a good frame of reference.
It is easy to use and easy to clean. I love that it has a side burner; I was secretly hoping to find one with a side burner that fit in our budget. I know it's a bell and whistle, but I'm glad for it. I also love that the side burner has a lid so that it can be used as an extra work space. However, even if the side burner is in use, there is a work space on the other side, which is nice.
It is well constructed and sturdy. The wheels make it easy to move. We did take the advice of the two other reviewers and had two people assemble it. It took my husband and is friend a solid hour, perhaps hour and a half, to assemble it. Assembly was easy, just somewhat time consuming.
Overall, we've been extremely pleased with this barbeque and are delighted to have found it on sale, else it would have been out of our budget. If you can find it on sale, it is a far better grill than the others that are regularly priced at the same price. I cannot attest to its worth at full market value, as I am unfamiliar with that territory and level of grills.
