We Installed the Range the 3rd week of December 2005, and everything was great until I tried to make a new year's dinner (using the over for the first time) and the control panel had a "key stuck" error message and I ended up cooking portions in a toaster oven.

About 3 weeks later the panel starts peeling off, about 3 weeks after the parts came in and the tech scratched the stainless steel surface while installing it... and it wasn't properly installed (I'm currently waiting for the tech to replace it again).
Then when I tried to bake again i notice that the oven is not heating at displayed temperature and the house smells like gas... there have been 4 attempts to fix the problem and I am now more than frustrated, KitchenAid will not replace it because they call the problem "fixable"... every time I call to report the problem I have to wait a week for the tech to come and take a look and then 10 days for the parts and then to find out it still not working.
Kitchenaid says "we are sorry for your inconvenience" but that doesn't solve my problem specially when I have to bake standing next to the oven so that when it shuts off and doesn't go back on I have to turn it off and restart the baking cycle, last night it took me 3 hours to bake a lasagna... KITCHENAID, I'M SORRY I TRUSTED THE BRAND NAME.
Over six months of dealing with this problem and KitchenAid is calling "good will" extending the limited 1 year warranty to another year, I don't call that good will at this rate the warranty will expire and they won't be able to fix the problem.
