| rocklp41's Full Review: Kodak EasyShare CX6230 Digital Camera |
The Kodak Easy Share CX6230 is the perfect digital camera for the perosn or family who doesn't take pictures much. It's very affordable, around $100, lightweight so it's very easy to take with you. Most of all its very easy to use.
Performance: Now, I'm no expert on cameras, but so far this camera has supplied all of my needs. The picetures it makes are incredible. They look much better than the ones you would get from a developer and they come in the size that you want them. The screen on the back of the camera is small, but bug enough for you to see what your or photographing, about 1x1.5 inches. The view is if you are seeing it with your own eyes and you can easily review your pictures by pushing the review button and then zoom on the picture by clicking OK in the middle of the directional pad. The directional pad is one of the few problems on the is camera. The buttons are so small you can easily get irritated when you mess up. Another problem is the picture taking. Sometimes you may press the button and hear the click but a photo will not be taken. The flash though is very bright and eliminates dark pictures. A great feature of this camera is its video mode but it is only 30 seconds. Also accesing the USB input to your computer and AV out to your tv are easy. But the worst part about this camera is its battery life. Normal batteries can last to a maximum of only an hour of continuous life. Even lithium batteries don't last long. The Kodak share button makes putting pictures on your computer or TV quick and simple.
Durability and Size: The camera is pretty durable cause it has survived the numerous times I have dropped it. But a problem is the battery cover that easily pops open if too much pressure, which isn't alot, is given to the camera. The camera itslelf is very small and portable, thus lightwieght too. Just for an average photographer.
