freistat1124's Full Review: Kodak EasyShare CX7300 Digital Camera
Before buying this Kodak Easyshare CX7300, all I used to take pictures was my walgreens camera and my cell phone. I know, sad huh? So I decided to buy something cheap to start with. It took me a week before I found a store with this camera in stock. I went to two Office Max, an Office Depot, and finally a Circuit City. None of these stores were in stock. So I decided to try ANOTHER Office Max store, and luckily, that one had one in stock.
First, the price of this camera is very good. One of the cheapest digital cameras I have ever seen. But, you get what you pay for, and this camera doesn't have many features. But it still offers good bang for the buck.
This camera is very easy to use. So, if you aren't much of a tech person, this camera will be perfect for you. On the top it has the shutter button, and the circular switch which allows you to pick from, AUTO, NIGHT, RECORDING, and OFF. The auto feature is for when you just want to take a picture. The night position is for, you guessed it, taking a picture in a non-lighted environment. Recording is for recording moving images, and off is to turn the camera off.
On the back is the MENU button, the REVIEW button, the SHARE button, the DELETE button, and an OK button with some selector switches. All of these are pretty self-explanatory, so I won't go into too much detail.
Of course, I have to talk about the picture quality. In the menu screen, you can choose from BEST, BEST (3:2), BETTER, and GOOD. How many pictures you can save onto your memory card depends on the picture quality. If you want to save a lot of pictures and you don't really care about the quality, go with GOOD. Otherwise I would recommend BETTER or higher.
Overall, I am pretty happy about my camera purchase. But I will probably upgrade in a few more months because my needs are beginning to outgrow my camera. If you are a newcomer to the photography world, I highly recommend this. But if not, go look elsewhere.
