forklift1978's Full Review: Kodak EasyShare CX7300 Digital Camera
Picture it. Cuero, Texas. Summer 2005. Our baby turned three months old and we had no pictures that we had taken ourselves. We decide to purchase a digital, and unlike most folks, we head to the town pawn shop. This was 8 block trip that we thought would be a waste of time since our local pawn shop doesnt have much you would really want to purchase, but we went anyways. On the shelf were two digital cameras. Both were the Kodak EasyShare CX7300 Digital Camera. The choice we had was to get the $100 one with a carrying case, table top tripod and no memory card or the $80 camera with a 64mb memory card and no case. We took the $80 one. Well, thats enough pf the story, lets get to the camera.
This Kodak EasyShare CX7300 Digital Camera 3.2 megapixil with 3X continuous digital zoom runs off of two AA batteries. Unfortunately, it really likes batteries. We have gone through at least 20 in the past 7 months. We do use it a lot though. The memory card slot is located on the left side as you are looking at the rear of the camera. It has a little hinged door the exposes the memory card slot and the USB port for uploading to your computer. On the back of the camera is the 1x 1 ¼ color display screen. To the right of that is the menu button and the review button. To the left of the screen is the delete and share buttons as well as a scrolling key pad used during reviewing your pictures. Located above the screen is the flash menu button which lets you choose from auto, red-eye, fill, off. On the top of the camera is the important buttons. There is a dial for turning on the camera and selecting what type of pictures you want to take like auto, night, or video, and the button to take the photo. Video lets you capture up to 30 seconds of video with out sound. This camera is compatible with the Kodak EasyShare printer dock 6000 and Kodak EasyShare camera dock 600.
For a relatively inexpensive digital camera, this is the one for me. It is easy to use and has great features. No this is not a camera for the digital freak, but it does great for every day pictures of the kids, vacations, birthday parties, or pictures of stuff to sell on eBay.
Thanks for reading.
