Pros: It looks impressive and it has easy to use controls
Cons: BLURRY and inconsistent photo quality, plus bad flash problems
The Bottom Line: Buy something else. This camera's quality is unpredictable and certainly not worth the price tag when there are better performers available.

| ydrhmhr's Full Review: Kodak EasyShare DX7590 Digital Camera |
I have been taking photos semi-professionally for churches and organizations for 25+ years and digital photos for at least 7 years. I have never had a camera other than this one that has such bad focus problems. About 1 in 4 photos is blurry. Shots taken in bright sunlight are stunning, but in any indoor situation or less than optimal lighting things go downhill quickly...especially if zoom is involved in any way. I usually end up taking at least 10 shots of things I should only take two or three of because sometimes I can't tell until I get them downloaded which are going to turn out and which aren't. There's also no rhyme or reason for these problems because I can take the same shot 4 times on a very stable TRIPOD and one or two will be blurry and the others fine. I know two other photographers who have owned this camera and both experienced the same problems. Also the flash is also terrible and too strong and tightly focused. It causes bad tone problems on subjects with anything not directly dead center of the shot or in the background VERY dark. I wish I had my Olympus back and am going to ditch this Kodak camera very soon.
