I found this camera new on eBay and it in INCREDIBLE! Not only does it have a giant 2.5" LCD, it takes sharp high-res pictures. For what I paid for it ($100) I believe the quality to be outstanding. I can easily blow these up to 11 x 15 and higher. There are lots of options, even down to simplistic manual focus and aperture control. It's small, thin, and cool-looking to boot. It's not my Nikon SLR, but for pics on the go and 10,000 pics of my pets, it's amazing! I just got it, so I can't comment on battery life or use, but first impression = excellent. That LCD can be turned off during shooting to save batteries and the viewfinder is quite usable.
Let me add: this camera will barely run on disposable CRV3's. As soon as I got a rechargable CRV3 (today) everything is fine and the camera no longer shuts off after 2 pictures. Just get this battery and a charger and you're good to go.
