Ok, so you're saying to yourself 'Man, I need a laptop, but that Power Book is so damn expensive.' Well, the iBook is your solution. Really, for your average home user, I can't see the iBook being insufficient. The speed, memory and capacity of the iBook is more than enough. I have an iBook which I run Final Cut Pro on. The speed is fine for playback and all your editing needs. You also have the option of three different drives. If you go all out and get yourself the DVD Player/CD Burner, you're still only paying $1500. Not too shabby. And I'm sure you could look around the internet for a better deal than the standard Mac price.
Obviously if money is no object, the Power Book is top of the line, but for someone looking for something just as good with a tight budget, go for the iBook.
