| wyselink's Full Review: Dell Inspiron 7500 (G650YT) PC Notebook |
My desktop computer was a Dell which always provided good reliability and my previous laptop was a Compaq. This new Dell 7500 replaces both! I only travel with a computer about 80% of the time, so my problem was keeping all my necessary files loaded on the old laptop. I typically used the desktop for all the graphic & design programs and used the laptop for strictly going onsite with clients. Now, with the Dell 7500, I use it as my primary computer and it keeps me organized! I purchased the docking station, which makes moving the computer a breeze (especially if you'd rather do work in the recliner instead of the home office.) With 128mb of Ram, the 8mb graphics card and the PIII 750 processor, this computer has the power to do intense graphics. When I bought, they had a promotion on the DVD player. I was going to pass on it, but am glad I didn't. With the 15 inch screen and the graphics card, movies are crystal clear.
I would recommend this computer for most users. If you travel a lot(and don't need this much power), you may want to look at something a little lighter.
