Pros: Very light, fast, good price and quality components
Cons: Few if any (some minor complaints - see below)
The Bottom Line: This laptop is built VERY well and kicks butt! No extra junk installed on these babies, unlike all those laptops sold in retail stores.

This is a nice laptop. I have very little to complain about. We just moved 130+ systems from the CPts series to these system and they are so much nicer. The plastics are so much better than the Dell Latitude CP series systems (also known as the Inspiron 3800's, etc.) The TouchPad/PointStick combination is very convenient (although the pointstick tends to drift frequently). This system is super-snappy (even the 700 Mhz model -- which is at the lower end). I think some of the IBM laptop keyboards have a nicer "feel", but this is not a deal breaker. All laptops and their corresponding manufacturers have their shortcomings. Dell is no exception, but this system is absolutely in the "sweet spot" when it comes to price/weight/performance. I would also recommend a 3 year on-site warranty (but "next day" service may be a bit spotty outside of major metropolitan areas).
