Pros: Great value: DVD, CD-RW, 512MB ram
Cons: Lacks speed, battery noise, no USB 2.0
The Bottom Line: I haven't used the tech support, but I'm sure that it is good (based on previous experience). You can't go wrong with this laptop. Cool blue lighting effects!

| stand_1998's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Compaq Presario 2100US (DB954A) PC... |
I bought the 2105CA model and am very happy with it. The new scroll section of the touch pad is a great idea. The system comes loaded with 512MB RAM and has many great features. My complaints would be: only 2 USB ports, no USB2.0 support, heavy, slow startup, too much preinstalled junk.
The firewire support was a blessing, and the blue lighting effects are a nice change. I would rather do without the floppy drive, but the variety of ports is good.
The case is designed well, and the colour scheme is sleek.
I have had good experiences with Compaq (both with the quality and support) and I hope that the same will be true with this product. The software bundle is good, but I want to have the option to install what is needed.
