I absolutely enjoy this laptop. I use it more than my desktop. My T23 has 30G HD, Windows XP, PCMCIA wireless network, wireless keyboard and mouse. It connects to the internet @ 3 mbps. I'm very happy. I work with computers, network and laptops; and the t23 fits my needs exactly. It wont do the latest games and heavy graphics but Im glad I decided to buy this brand and not Dell or even Toshiba. This is a rugged little system.
I use my laptop to play with remote desktop connection and remote assistance. I can control my desktop from the remote laptop. I can assist other users with their system without physically having to be in front of their computer. This laptop has made my work with network so enjoyable.
Updating drivers and bios is easily accomplished. Just connect to the "IBM update connector" and in a few minutes, your done. Restoring the whole system is easy too. Just press one of the function keys and the whole original OS is reinstalled. This recovery feature is one of the reason I chose this model.
I paid $650 for my system @ tigerdirect, and I didn't have to pay sales tax.
