People, this laptop does not play around when it comes to excellence. This thing has a 15" screen!! Since when do you find laptops that have displays as big as most desktops??? This one makes you feel as if you really are at home in front of the family machine. Usually you can hover over a laptop display and wish that it was bigger, but this one won't let you do that.
Not only does it have a huge display, it also allows you to add a second battery for extended battery life...perfect for that DVD movie on the plane. It also has a video out which allows you to play that DVD at home too.
It also comes with 128MB of RAM, which allows for more info processing and is fully upgradeable to 256MB. This unit is a little heavier than other notebooks, weighing in at around 7lbs.
Finally, as with all Sony computers, it comes loaded with gobs of digital video editing and application software so you don't have to go out and buy it. This computer is worth every penny, and the support you receive from Sony is pretty good, so you're not going to be up the creek anytime soon without a paddle when you buy this one. This is a quality notebook by an excellent company.
