Pros: Great price, combo DVD player/CD burner is awesome
Cons: Missing Sony Memory stick, heavy to lug around.
The Bottom Line: I was worried about AMD Athlon chip, but it is awesome. Sony quality trumps every other brand, and this was a bargain.

| dagwood12's Full Review: Sony VAIO FR130 PC Notebook |
I shopped long and hard for a laptop for home use. I have a Dell laptop at work that has been dependable but not spectacular. I run my homebanking, use my Handspring and do some word processing. My wife does word processing, plays games and connects to the internet. My 8 year old son plays games and watches DVD's on the drive to Grandma's house. Sony quality sold me on this product. I have Sony TV's, stereo and walkman products. Like all my other Sony products, the laptop worked out of the box and has had no errors or lockups. It also comes with Sony Video transfer software and I plan to download my family videos onto the laptop and burn DVD's, when I get a DVD burner.
Why have a giant PC eating up space in your house? Laptops rule.
