This is the best notebook I've owned (4th). The feature list provides almost everything you could want. The lack of the IR port is a small thing, but it's the only thing keeping me from saying this notebook is perfect. Everything worked perfectly right out of the box. The lid hinges seem especially durable. The display is crystal clear and they keys and touchpad have perfect action. I would highly recommend this model to anyone in the market for a notebook. The sony name just can't be beat.. and this price is incredible. I get nearly 5 hours of battery life from a full charge. Most importantly, this thing seems to run very cool... not like my old HP that made me sweat 15 pounds off my legs every time i used it.
