Nice laptop for the money

Pros: nice performance, nice screen, and nice all around laptop
Cons: poor battery life, no outside volume control,
The Bottom Line: with the exception of the two problems stated above the laptop has worked perfectly.

had a problem with the laptops power supply two weeks after I bought it. the laptop would not turn on at all. called sony and they sent me a box with prepaid postage and after I sent it in they had it back within five days. Other then that the laptop has worked fine, it has not crashed on me once. the performance is good and everything i do on it seems to run fine. My only problem is the battery life. the battery life states 2.5 hours but even with the screen on low brightness the longest I've seen is 1hr 45min.
with the exception of the one power problem(which sony was great at taking care of) and the battery life I am happy with this laptop.
