Yes. USB ports are not 2.0, (no ps2 ports available).

Also, purchased in spring 2003, not 2002.

I think possibly you meant USB ports? The PS2 ports are typically used for mice and keyboards. You may want to check out some of the other reviews of laptops to find out what is important for the consumers. If you update, let me know via email at ivplay@gmail.com.
