Hey cool! I have that 3 inch CD (somewhere around here) - I forgot all about "up from the skies". Thanks for reminding me!

I first heard Sting sing this Gershwin tune on a 3-inch CD single of "Englishman in New York." It also had Sting's version of the Hendrix song "Up from the Skies" (which wasn't as celestial as his take on "Little Wing").

I have about 12 comments, but I'll just stick to 3. I haven't heard "Let Your Soul be Your Pilot", but I'm not surprised he pulls off this style effortlessly. I agree that "Nothing Like the Sun" is Sting's finest full length album, it's definitely my favorite. Finally, I would love to hear that rendition of "Someone to Watch Over Me", sounds worth buying just for that!!
