Best Mouse!?!?

Pros: Great feel. Great Performance. Super, Super features particularly scroll buttons!
Cons: Cannot sideways scroll from scroll wheel.
The Bottom Line: Could be the best mouse ever. Excellent feel for big hands, great quality of touch and performance. The scroll buttons are a must have!

I have had this mouse for two years or so. My wife spilled coffee in Logitech Keyboard it came with and I like this mouse so much that I have the new mouse right next to it and I always reach for this one first.
I have a big hand and the first thing is this mouse fits perfectly. The second key criteria is that it works amazing. The precision is excellent. The feel is of tremendous high quality. The feel of the soft areas has just the right feel like quality (I'm sure it's just something sprayed on plastic). The features are great - front and back buttons. What this mouse really has that I like are three buttons on top of the mouse. The feature switch button is great - ALT TAB access from the mouse, and allows you to jump right to a running application rather than having to ALT TAB your way through.
Of course the mouse is rechargeable and it tells you when it needs a charge both via software and a light on the mouse.
What really differentiates this mouse from the Click! Plus that came with the replacement keyboard is the scroll front and scroll back buttons just ahead and behind the scroll wheel. These button allow you to scroll a bit faster than scrolling the scroll wheel. They essentially provide a "fast forward" through a document, very helpful where you are looking for a graphic that is 25 pages away.
The only thing the Click! Plus has that I'd like to see here is that the Click! you can scroll horizontal and vertical from the scroll button (the button pushed to the side). With the LX700 you have to push, lock the mouse in scroll mode and then move the mouse to the left or right. Not a huge down side however to the best mouse I've ever used!!
