dsnider2006's Full Review: Lucky You By Liz Claiborne EDT Spray 100ml for Wom...
General:
I bought this perfume because I was looking for my "signature" perfume when I was 16 and couldn't afford much, but didn't want to smell like an old woman. Lucky for me, I found the right scent after two or three tries, and have been wearing it ever since.
Fragrance:
I would call this a light floral with a slight citrus hint, like grapefruit. The citrus is similar to Clinique's Happy. Lucky has none of the heavy, grandmotherly tones of gardenia or rose. The floral is more like a pleasant jasmine to evoke femininity without matronliness. There are slight notes of sandalwood back there, but they play second fiddle to the citrus and floral.
It is a light scent. It has decent staying power- if you smell your wrists at the end of the day, it's still there. Unless you bathe in it, people won't smell it unless you're in reasonably close contact. Bugs apparently can't smell it unless they're close, either. It's not the mosquito attractant that most florals are.
Personality:
This is a fun, youthful scent. It definitely brings the words "flirty", "young", and "sexy" to mind. It's not so sugary sweet that only teenagers would wear it, but I wouldn't expect someone's grandmother to wear it, either. It is a great everyday perfume for most young women, and I would suggest it for outdoor parties for the under-40 set.
Lucky You for Women is a youthful fragrance driven with comfort. So versatile it's the type of fragrance you never get tired of wMore at Perfume Emporium
