SD card ($37 ebay GREAT DEALS) and DirectRoute from epinions vendor.
Buy a name brand SD card. The first one was generic and did not work.
If you have WIN XP service pack 2 installed, You will need to download a patch from Magellan.

I still am having a lot of fun with my color Meridian and trust it. My second car is a Toyota Prius with GPS navigation. It sucks. It keeps telling me to get off intestates and take small roads through towns. My Meridian never screwed up routes like that.
