Pros: long-lasting...but is that a good thing?
Cons: too woodsy, spicey, and manly for me!
The Bottom Line: I do not recommend Mambo. Liz Claiborne fragrances usually smell lovely and girlie, but not Mambo. It seems more suited for men than women.

| smartshop411's Full Review: Mambo by Liz Claiborne 3.4oz Eau De Toilette Spray... |
I have tried many Liz Claiborne fragrances (Curve, Bora Bora, Lucky You, etc.) and usually find them to be lovely. So, I was surprised to discover one that I really didn't enjoy. Read on for the details...
The Product...
Mambo is available in 1.7 oz and 3.4 oz bottles. The retail cost is about $40 for the 1.7 oz. bottle. It can be purchased at Ulta, many department stores, and even some drug stores. The bottle is a simple design, slender with a curve in it, with warm Latin-inspired colors. It is easy to dispense. There is a men's version as well (although the women's fragrance smells "manly" to me...more on that later!).
The fragrance of Mambo is described as mango, melon, jasmine, bougainvillea, iris, and orchid. I usually love these notes, but not with this fragrance.
My Experience...
I received a small gift set of Liz Claiborne fragrances that contained bottles of Bora Bora, Curve, and Mambo. The previous fragrance smell delicious. I can't say the same for Mambo. It has a woodsy, spicey scent that smells like men's cologne to me. I do not smell any of the flowers or fruits. The scent doesn't not improve once it is on the skin. It is long-lasting, which for me was a negative! My bottle is collecting dust now. I am glad it was a little one, so I don't feel as wasteful!
