Pros: Smaller body with full sound, great action, stays in tune, fits most styles, even funk.
Cons: I have yet to come up with one. Unless you personally prefer full sized.
The Bottom Line: Amazing guitar. Simplistic elegance, full sound, smaller body, great smell, top notch construction, and versatility you wouldn't believe. Perfect for anyone looking for the highest quality guitar without the flair.

| sarevokoflp's Full Review: Martin 00015 Acoustic Guitar |
The Martin 000-15 is one of the best acoustic guitars I have ever played. It offers a full sound with a smaller body. I have always preferred smaller guitars, like my electric Fenders, as opposed to the bigger, heavier guitars. The 000-15 is very light, and has a very pleasing smell. What amazes me most is the fact that you can play anything on this, fingerstyle, funk, blues, you name it. It's action is better than most of the other Martin's I've played. I think the guitar is beautifully simple. I wouldn't want it to be any fancier looking. This guitar is for anyone looking to buy something different than the typical spruce-top guitars. It has a sense of uniqueness to it, that makes it an alternative to black or the typical spruce. The sound is so full, especially when you consider that it has a smaller body. When I sit to play it, I always find myself unable to put the guitar down.
The shape of the body is perfect for someone who likes to sit back and just play, where the guitar fits your posture. Whether you are slouched back, sitting upright, or just using your knee, the guitar is light and manageable, making it comfortable for any position.
If simplistic beauty is what you are looking for, this is the guitar to buy. It doesn't have any pearl inlays, or fancy tuning heads. What it does have is marvelous craftsmanship and high quality parts, which is what any musician requires of his instruments.
I must admit, the guitar has a distinct smell, and it will hit you when you open the case. At that moment, you aren't sure if it's a good smell, just that it's a smell. But, when you start playing, nothing could possibly smell so sweet. It makes the playing experience much more involved, where you just sort of zone off in your own little musical world.
I fully recommend the Martin 000-15, and feel that it is indeed the best guitar under $2000 (but I wouldn't trade mine for anything).
