Pros: Price/looks
Cons: Lacks in cooling ability
The Bottom Line: I don't recommend it, unless it is for a very small room, and even then I doubt it would keep it at a comfortable temp.

I bought this unit to cool a 6X8 Shaved Ice Stand. I went to Home Depot and looked around until I found this one, and after noticing the BTU's and room cooling capacity I purchased it (If I recall correctly it'll cool a 10X20 room)
However it was quickly evident just how insufficient this unit is in keeping up with the demands of opening the serve window constantly, the A/C I had prior kept the building a lot colder, but finally gave up due to age, hence my purchase of this unit. Maybe they don't make them like they used to, but I sure was not impressed by this unit at all, and I would maybe recommend this IF, the room was small, and didnt have much of a area to cool. I realize my situation is unique, in that we have a window open quite a bit, but I would think that a unit of this size would recover quick, but that is not the case.
I did however like the digital read outs/remote, made it easier to know what temp I was running it at.
