We purchased this Maytag MBF1956KEB to replace a Sears Cold Spot that was 40 years old. The Sears was not energy efficient and the door seals were shot. The Maytag was delivered on 6/21/08 and completely stop cooling on 6/30/08. A Maytag repairman was called and didn't show up until after 6:00PM. Overload of Maytag repairs? Unit needs sealed system repair. I was informed that this is a major repair requiring 3 hours of labor time. After many phone calls we will be getting a new refrigerator tomorrow. Unfortunately it will be another Maytag. I'm glad I purchased the extended manufacturer warranty. I think I am going to need it. Due to this record setting death I will never but another Maytag product.
