I received this telescope as a gift for Christmas and I must say that it really is a fun little scope. I also have a Bushnell 450 and this by far is more enjoyable to use.
The celestial objects database computer makes an incompetent astronomer like me look like a pro. Want to see Orion beep beep, youre looking at it, Oh lets go to Saturn, beep beep, 30 seconds later youre looking at that.
The lack of a view finder is a bit a bummer when you want to just quickly look at that bright thing in the sky, have no idea what it is so you cant punch it in to the computer and go to automatically, so I glued a little piece of plastic on the end of the scope and use it a sort of iron sites by just looking straight down the light chamber move the scope around till the site blocks the object in the sky and then just move the scope up a hair and youll be looking at whatever you want.
The computer software that comes with it is easy to learn and use as well.
You can get this scope for as little as $130 in some places now.
