I just purchased my Mintek tonight and it didn't work at all right out of the box. Same as with everyone else, my unit also hung up in the loading or "boot-up" phase. I got power, the disc spun, abut received no audio or video. Tried multiple discs, but no luck. Based on other reviews I have read, I am not going to exchange this unit for another. Going for the refund and will purchase another brand. Sorry Mintek - you offer a nice price, but you're proof that you get exactly what you pay for for sure!
