Pros: Good build quality and very good HDTV picture quality.
Cons: No MPEG decoder and no compatibility with HDTV DTheater tapes.

certainly know your equipment!!! Lots of comparisons going on in this review -- you have 2, 3 or even 5 more reviews on models you can take off from in this review. I didn't give you a VH because I think with all the comparisons going on and all that knowledge zooming around, a regular average user out looking for basic, but complete info on this model will be left wondering what happened and not come away knowing all about this one particular model. If you can rework it to be more about the single unit and then maybe write reviews on the other models to refer to . . . . Spread all that info and knowledge around!!! :O)
