Pros: Integrated HD, Nice simple cabinet, wheels, TONS of inputs.
Cons: Only 480i, 480p, and 1080i. No PIP/POP with HD signal
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone looking for a very nice big screen RPTV. It's a super-clear-picture when viewing native HD, or DVD's.

| elmovt's Full Review: Mitsubishi WS-55511 55 in. TV |
I guess I'm the first one to actually write a review for this TV, so here goes.
I've had it now for about a month, and absolutely love it. It's a perfect size for my place. I sit about 14 feet away from it, and it's not too overbearing.
Picture quality definatly differs depending on source. True HD signals are AMAZING. The picture clarity and definition is bar-none, the best. DVD's are also superb. I have both of those connected with Monster2 Component Cables.
Normal 4:3 analog cable is another story. I have Comcast digital cable connected by monster s-video cable. Some shows have horrible color and artifacts, while others look good. Still not comparable to the HD signal. But still doesn't look *bad* in any sense of the word.
The stretching feature gives you a feeling of tunnel vision during panning left to right picture. The middle keeps the normal aspect ratio, while the edges only are stretched. It's about 5 inches of stretch on each side. I just leave it on "standard" mode and have the whole image stretched the same across the board. Your eyes get used to it after a few days.
I have no idea about the sound it produces, I have it all turned off and use my home theater receiver for all sound reproduction.
