the ABIT NF7-S is in my oppinion the best motherboard i have every used in my computing experience. the Dual Channel DDR support gives the system a very nice speed boost. SATA is very fast even with the UATA to SATA adaptor that comes witht the motherboard.
the onboard 6 channel surround sound has no effect on the CPU useage at all, which is much better than the other boards that use the CPU for sound. not to mention that it has SPDIF out (optical). NF7-s has up to 400MHZ FSB (Front Side Bus) support for the newer Barton core Athlon XPs (3400+, 3500+).
IEEE1394 is nice to have even thpugh i dont use it, and the USB 2.0, and AGP 8x. the nf7-s 1.2 if a supreem Overclocking board, with core voltage going up to 2.5v and a FSB of 250MHZ (500MHZ).
