I bought the BP6 to build a cheap but powerful computer. I think this is the audience for the BP6 -- especially over-clockers.
At first I was very excited by the BP6. It has dual processing, ATA/66 support, and SoftMenu support for overclocking. Sounds great. And when it runs, it is great. But, yes you saw it coming, this board has several problems.
It crashes and hangs nearly every time I use it. And I'm not alone. From what I can see on the discussion boards (esp. www.bp6.com and HardwareCentral) many people have similar problems.
For what it's worth I've run Microsoft Windows NT & 2000 Pro on the BP6, I have pulled most of the cards out of the slots, and upgraded the BIOS. It still hangs.
Do yourself a favor and buy a stable system.
