My friend and I both purchased this motherboard at the same time. It took me six hours just to get the motherboard working properly enough to install windows. I finally got it up and running after about 14 straight hours of work. The computer never seemed to be working up to par, so I decided to use a pc benchmark test. The test results showed that the motherboard was not functioning well in many categories. Especially video and hard drive speed. My friends motherboard showed the same poor results. A couple of weeks later my pc completely crashed. I called the vendor and demanded a replacement. After a week or so my replacement arrived and the installation began. This installation went a little smoother and the pc seemed to be performing a little better than before. I ran the pc benchmark test once again to discover that the same problems do exist in this motherboard. I kept it for a few months contacting FIC the whole time about the below normal specs. They told me that there was no problem with the motherboard and to contact 3dfx for the video card. I decided to troubleshoot the hard drive speed myself and discovered that the speed was better when the udma/66 was disabled. I confronted FIC with this and they denied the fact that udma/66 did not work on this motherboard. I had it with the motherboard after that, so I sold it. I then purchased a MSI 6195 K7 Pro motherboard and have been totally satisfied ever since.
