Pros: -optical mouse.No more mouse ball shuffle
-left right and up down scroll wheels
Cons: -i always manage to click the "back" button when moving the mouse around.
The Bottom Line: great for online gaming
inexpensive
In reality a mouse is a mouse and there is not too much variety on its basics.

I got tired of the mice that have the large ball underneath because it would constantly require cleaning.
I even purchased a high quality mouse surface and the cleaning schedule did diminish but the "ball shuffle" from the ball not rotating drove me to purchase a new mouse.
A good mouse is important to an individual who is front of the PC 10 hours a day.
Purchased the optical mouse from tiger direct.com for a pittance of $25
What a difference a decent mouse can make.
For starters the mouse can operate directly on the surface of my desk and I no longer have to deal with falling off of the edge of my mouse pad.
It has 2 wheels staggered from 11oclock to 5oclock in just the right place on the top of mouse. These allow you to scroll up ,down and left,right which is great for viewing web pages that do not open up fullscreen on your browser.
Iwheelworks Software is included with the drivers that allows you to configure the 5 buttons to launch a few applications
( mostly MS office apps) or an optimization for browsing. back , forward , home etc.
HOWEVER one button function that is not possible is refresh.
All of the functions you can tie into this device and no refresh button?
Had to have been an oversight.
The sensitivity settings for the wheels and mouse itself can be manipulated from the iwheelworks icon in your sys tray.
The drivers for this mouse were not available from AOPEN on their website the past 3 times I looked.
Had to download the drivers from a third party site in China because I misplaced the CD.
Once you go optical mouse there is no going back.
