i got this at christmas, when we did a clean install of XP over our old ME, the mouse we had with ME was terrible, it would skitter all over the screen and then stick, horrible for photo editing, i screwed up many pics with that thing.
this is easy to install, nice and smooth, cheap, and not ergonomic, my dad is left handed so he needs it.
its a really nice and simple mouse, the software it comes with is a little odd, but you dont need it, it just lets you customize the buttons. just plug it into XP and it will be found and recognised, I love XP stable and eazy.
