Pros: Great range! Awsome mouse, cool design
Cons: runs on batteries.
The Bottom Line: You should get this mouse if you have a desktop and want wireless optical, and I like microsoft products.

I got this on boxing day for 35 Canadian (22US). I have never had wireless or optical. I have to say this mouse is soOooooO much fun for me to use and I am in love with it. I went like 20 feet away (through 2 walls) and it STILL worked! I could tell because when I got back IE was at the bottom of the page and it started at the top. The scroll wheel is a nice feature (I had one before) and I could not imagine getting a mouse without it. The ONLY things I dont like are:
It runs on AA (haven't run out yet)
I origanally bought this thinking it's "reciever" was a small antenna that would not be intrusive (I have a laptop)
But it turns out the "reciever" is on a 2 foot cord, so thiers not point for wireless if your using a notebook.
I hooked it up to my desktop now and I LOVE it.
i say GET ONE! I would bay up to US$35 tops. (staples.com had it for 25 I'm not sure if it still is)
