| lurr's Full Review: Mpio FL100 (256 MB) MP3 Player |
I bought FL100 256MB player on this February. And I used almost every working days for about six months and so far almost no problem at all. The sound quality is great. (I'd recommend to upgrade to better headphone if possible although the earphone with the player is also nice.) I generally use 128Kbps~256Kbps variant bit rate to compress my CD to MP3, and with this player I think the sound quality is much better than other brand MP3 player I have used before. I also have an Sony NetMD and I cannot find big difference between them on the sound quality. And then I carry this cute item for more and more time. :) I also like the FM function of this player. The reception and sound is very good in my area. Furthermore, the upgradeable firmware and software increase its value too.
The only thing I will recommend their technician to improve is the random playing algorithm. Currently, when you choose Random Play mode, it just randomly arrange the file sequence in every folder every time you start the unit. It generally is not a true Random Play mode as in Winamp in your pc. Otherwise, an absolutely valuable MP3 player.
