great mp3 player, horrible durability

this mp3 was great while it lasted, with all the functions like fm radio, voice recording, expandable memory, upgradeable firmware, and a mirror!
the price i bought this mp3 was 169.99 canadian, total 195.49 including taxes. its was a pretty good deal considering it was a 256mb player. i also bought an additional 256 mb to increase the total memory to 512mb, this was enough to upload a little more than 8 albums worth of songs. with the help of the mpio manager, u can use folders to separate all those songs into the categories u want which made the navigating easier. this was perfect for getting me back and forth from school or work.
with this mp3, it had some downsides
- the case it came with looks kinda tacky, i dunno if all the fl100's come with the same one but this one looks like the case u use with a cell phone which attaches to ur belt
- when i broke my mp3, the tech support was fast to reply, their suggestions were not helpful
- the pieces of plastic on the mp3 ( battery cover, usb cover, expandable memory cover ) looks very fragile and iam sure it is
THE WORST THING..DURABILITY!!
if ur one of those people who takes care of ur electronics like it was ur baby, u may not have a problem with this, but for all u people who makes mistakes once and a while, BEWARE
sad to say, yes i dropped it.... it was maybe about 1 foot off the ground onto carpeted floor, and after that, it was gone.
so to all of those who have one or plan to buy one.. be very very careful with it, other than that...it was a great buy
