I saw NetObjects Fusion on XOOM.COM for $39.99 some %83 off the normal price. Well I figured I had heard some good stuff about it and figured I would give it a go.
The interface is much different for anyone who has used another type of WYSIWYG editor. Frontpage gives you more control of your HTML (at least more than Fusion 4).
This program reminded me of my mom's print kits she uses on her computer, drag and drop, open space for placing objects, and just making the page layout however you please, no worries about tables, or making sure the img tags are set.. it does it all!
The down side however for experienced HTMLer's is you can not edit the HTML! Irritating! Imagine you want to fine tune a certain element of the website, say a font tag. Well you can't. You can edit it strictly with what Fusion 4 gives you. Same with Tables. It takes more clicks just to get the tables setup then it does to make the code for tables!
Another peve would also be is that your website will not be an adjustable one. You pick the size, and design around it, so it will not use a % and adjust to the page, but stay say "640x480". Which is nice in some regards but sometimes it is nice to have variables in width / height.
Overall it is a good program for the beginer. Simple to get going, VERY easy themes, and great pre-done layouts to choose from! I am making a few websites with this, and the clients love the layout that Fusion creates! Worth the money! Get the cheap 4.0 version and upgrade to 5.0 rumor has it, that it can edit HTML! ;-)
