mhs1's Full Review: Nikon COOLPIX 5200 Digital Camera
This is my 2nd digital camera. My 1st, a Canon A20, did a very good job. However, I wanted to improve my photo taking experience by going to 5 Megapixels, gaining some added flexibility, and aquiring more 'user friendly' features.
I did extensive research and realized there were a number of very good products to pick from, including the soon to be released Nikon 5200. I liked what I read about the 5200 and after digesting three professional reviews that were very upbeat, I decided to order.
Received my 5200 about 2 weeks ago. It is a Fantastic camera! Very compact, sturdy, and good looking. Picture quality is excellent. Many user friendly settings and modes. From sunsets, to portraits, to macro images that are just incredible, I absolutely love this camera! Great color, saturation, and definition, along with ease of use.
The only item somewhat negative at this point is battery life. I get about 100-125 shots, with about 50% flash and the monitor always on. Not bad, but could be a little better.
