delphinus's Full Review: Over the Shoulder Baby Holder Baby Sling/Wrap
This carrier has been the most indispensable piece of baby equipment I own. My son is now 2 years old and I don't know how I would have made it this far without the carrier. I received it as a gift from my sister-in-law, who assured me that it was very useful. I must admit, the first time I tried putting it on I thought it was going to be a disaster. I wondered how this thing could possibly be used in so many different positions. Despite the frustration of my first attempt, I have to say that this is a remarkably useful and versatile product.
My son was an extremely high need infant (he had a very difficult birth) and refused the bassinet, crib, etc. This sling allowed me to hold him all the time and still have my hands free when I needed to. As an infant, he would snuggle, sleep, and even nurse in the horizontal position. As he got bigger, he loved tucking his legs under in the upright position both facing me and facing outward (kangaroo pouch style). I have even used it to strap him onto my hip now that he is a toddler. This sling is so simply designed that my husband and I were both able to wear our son anytime without any adjustments to it. My husband really enjoyed the bonding experience of wearing his infant son in this sling. Bonus - that allowed me to have some time to myself.
This sling is very durable and well made. It has held up through many washings and it just as wonderful now as it was when I first got it two years ago.
In a nutshell - you will LOVE this sling, just be patient the first time you try to use it and get someone to help you get it adjusted at first. Don't give up because you and your baby will love it.
