Horrible phone. I know it is a bit old now, but still, do not waste the 20-40 bucks on it. Ever since i got the phone (new) I've been having problems with it. The range is horrible, the caller id doesn't work unless the battery is 100% charged and you are less than 10 ft from it's base. Otherwise you get "INCOMING CALL"... which is what i thought the "ring ring" was for. Guess not. The only good thing i will say about this phone is that it can take a beating. One time i was waiting for a call from someone important. The phone rings once. I pick it up. It drops the call. So i whipped the phone on the floor and then picked it up once more and threw it down on the table. Then another time i picked up the phone on the 3rd ring, it didn't connect until the 5th ring from the other phones in my house. The answering machine picked up, so i had to listen to myself talk on the answering machine. After this i threw the phone at the steps of my house. I was purposely trying to break it so i could tell the wife we needed a new high-tech phone, the darn thing spited me in every aspect.
