Good quality stereo for the money.

This is a great in dash car stereo mp3 unit for the money. After the rebates and incentives I received from Crutchfield and Panasonic this unit came to $159. There were some cheaper units but I have had great luck with Panasonic in the past and there were certain issues other units had that I did not care for. The unit feels and operates like it was well constructed but only time will tell for sure, any problems and I will update this review.
What I like:
-Plenty of power. No problem going as loud as you like with a good clear sound.
-Great sound quality. I am using the factory speakers in my car and am very happy with the sound delivered from this unit.
-Easy to read display, day or night.
-No lag or cut off between songs. (Some units suffer from this.)
-More RMS power then most competitors in this price range.
-Longest warranty of any of the units I could find, 2 years.
-Unit is able to resume where you left off mid song even on MP3s. (Some units are not able to do this.)
What I did NOT like:
-Several of the buttons are very small and not easy to read. Not much room for big buttons on 1 DIN sized radios. Also with the remote this is not a serious issue.
-This display only scrolls by once on any information wider then screen such as song title. The scroll speed is slow and not adjustable.
-The display with it's very big lettering does not allow for a lot of information to be shown at one time. I would like to be able to see time and some other information like the song title. With this unit you need to select Display to scroll through the available information.
-No AUX input jack.
-Only bass and treble adjust. No graphic equalizer.
Some Notes of Interest:
-The display and the lighting does not dim with your lights. At this price point I did not find any that would automatically.
-This unit was able to read all my ID3 tag information off of my MP3s.
Update:
-After 6 months of use the stereo continues to operate flawlessly with no unpleasant surprises.
-The only negative I can add and it is minor is the display is very limited. The characters are big therefore there are not many character spaces and it scrolls the text very slowly. I just leave mine set to show the mode and time all the time since so little of the song name and title will fit on the screen.
